Meet the Prebiotic Gentle Herbs Shampoo - which contains many of the hair-loving, scalp-friendly ingredients you recognise from the iconic original Gentle Herbs Shampoo (the world's first organically certified shampoo in 2004!) - nettle, aloe leaf, horsetail, rosemary, chamomile and coconut.
 
But this formula has been enhanced with a prebiotic chicory extract that provides even more support for the scalp microbiome and skin barrier. Combined with new ingredients of organic avocado and jojoba, this shampoo ensures a soothed scalp and soft hair that glows with natural vitality.
 
(And of course it is COSMOS-certified, 100% natural, free of fragrances, sulphates and silicones).
 
Prebiotics help balance the skin microbiome - the countless good and bad bacteria that live on our skin. If the microbiome of our scalp is not balanced, it can lead to itching and a sensitive scalp. The prebiotics also act as natural conditioners, which together with the wealth of nourishing plant extracts in the shampoo make your hair soft and shiny with natural vitality.
 
 
Prebiotic Mild Herbal Shampoo is free from all sulphates (including SLS, ALS, sodium cocosulphate), silicones, salt and artificial preservatives. 
It is ideal for irritated, itchy or sensitive skin and may be suitable for scalps prone to psoriasis, dermatitis or eczema.

Prebiotic chicory extract to support the scalp microbiome
Nettle for a healthy scalp
Strengthening horsetail
Nourishing avocado, jojoba, sunflower and coconut
Soothing chamomile
Shine-enhancing rosemary
Moisturising aloe vera juice

How to use: 
 
Massage onto wet hair and scalp. For best results, leave on for a few minutes to allow the herbs and plant oils to absorb and condition before rinsing out. 
 
Avoid contact with eyes - in case of contact, rinse well with plenty of water. Store at room temperature.
