Properties

Shea butter
The Shea fruit tree grows about 20 meters high and only grows wild on the West African savannahs. For thousands of years the seeds have been crushed into an extremely nutritious nut fat or butter full of vitamins, minerals, proteins and a unique composition of essential fatty acids.
Unrefined Shea butter has the greatest number of healing and moisturizing properties as well as the high percentage of active ingredients of all butters and oils. 
Shea butter is particularly nourishing for skin and hair and is anti-inflammatory, promotes the healing process, softens, hydrates, promotes cell renewal and elasticity, protects against extreme weather influences and UV radiation and is beneficial for dry, chapped and irritated skin, itching, sunburn, eczema, skin allergy, insect bites, small skin wounds, and it reduces fine lines and wrinkles. 

This 100% organic Shea butter is obtained by cold pressing (mechanical pressing) of the nuts and still possesses all the nutrients and properties.

Sessame oil
This cold pressed and fairtrade organic sesame oil is very rich in vitamin E (between 20 - 50mg per 100gr), minerals, Selenium and linoleic acid (source of the natural antioxidants Lecithin and Sesamoline) and is used in many Ayurvedic recipes.

Use

Face
Use this organic Seabutter as an intensively nourishing day and night care that restores elasticity and protects the skin against extreme weather influences and free radicals.
Also very effective as lip balm and for chapped and chapped skin.

Body
A radiant, intensely nourished and soft skin? Add a tablespoon to a warm bath to apply the Shea butter as a thin film on the skin.
Ideal against straie and delicious for dry, oversensitive skin.

Hair
Organic Shea Butter restructures the hair fiber, revitalizes and restores the shine and resilience of dry and damaged hair. Leave a few hours before washing with a towel around the hair.
 
Tip: Effectively protect long hair from damage from chlorinated water, seawater and sun radiation (holidays, sports, etc.). Apply some organic Shea butter to dry clean hair, massage it between your hands and then distribute it well over all hairs with a brush. This way your hair remains well protected against free radicals and does not dry out or get damaged.

The cold-pressed organic Shea butter is produced with respect for the environment by a women's cooperative in Burkina Faso.
The organic sesame oil is produced with respect for the environment by a women's cooperative in Burkina Faso that is supported by Arc en Sels on the basis of equal (fair trade) trade principles. 
This sesame oil is produced by more than 1000 women, from start to finish.
