Rhassoul (or Ghassoul ) is a natural mineral clay that has been used in Morocco for centuries to wash the body and hair. It is mined in the Atlas Mountains, east of Meknes.

Unlike detergents such as shampoos and soaps, Rhassoul contains no surfactants; the cleansing process is purely physical. Composed of fine particles and mixed in water, it becomes a paste. Rhassoul absorbs fats and impurities that are removed during rinsing .

This very gentle wash does not completely remove the lipoprotective film of the skin or hair like the surfactants commonly used in shampoos. Rhassoul does not affect the hair's natural protective layer nor does it irritate the sebaceous glands.

Recommended for sensitive and allergic skin.

Suitable for all skin types and hair (except very dry hair) .

Rhassoul absorbs all impurities and gently and deeply cleanses the skin. It makes hair silky, shiny and full and permanently regulates sensitive and irritated scalp (grease and dandruff) .

Directions for use

Rhassoul cleanses in a physical process . When mixed with water, it wells up into a very soft paste. The very fine particles absorb impurities and grease, which are then easily rinsed away with clean water.

In a bowl, mix the chosen amount of powder with a little water to form a moist, smooth and soft mixture.
